TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The FragBlanket™ is a specially developed ballistic blanket with NIJ Level IIIA protection, designed for field use by soldiers as an ultimate protective shield against aggressive and lethal drone attacks in precarious combat situations.
When folded, the FragBlanket™ can be used as a back shield while moving in the field.
The blanket is manufactured from UD PE (see description below) and can be printed in various camouflage patterns, according to customer requirements.

Product Features
Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber, recognized as one of the lightest ballistic protection materials available, offering an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and high stiffness. Its superior energy absorption helps minimize behind-armor impact effects, reducing non-penetrating injuries. The unidirectional (UD) fabric structure effectively disperses projectile energy, captures fragments after impact, and limits blunt force trauma as well as secondary damage.
This advanced fabric is engineered to deliver outstanding ballistic efficiency along with consistent quality, low weight, and enhanced wearer comfort. It features strong tensile performance, high elastic modulus, excellent energy dissipation, and resistance to ultraviolet exposure. In addition, the material provides reliable protection against corrosion, moisture, heat, and a wide range of harsh environmental conditions.
Applications
Suitable for soft body armor, rigid armor panels, blast and explosion-resistant shields, bomb suppression blankets, impact-protection systems, and public defense equipment. It is also widely used in protective structures for vehicles, tanks, aircraft, naval platforms, and enclosures for radar and missile systems.
